My other ‘studio’

Artist’s statement
As a gardener I am drawn to textures and colour – whether they are in my garden or in my artwork. My style tends to be loose and impressionistic giving the viewer the essence of the subject rather than following strict lines and shapes.

I like to experiment with different media such as acrylic, encaustic, watercolour and paper to create my version of nature.

Her work has been displayed online through Gallery Ring, Society of Canadian Artists, and in various in juried and non-juried shows in Richmond Hill, Markham, and Toronto. She is a member of the Richmond Hill Group of Artists and the Society of Canadian Artists.
